Its been a long while since I've done anything on this blog, main reason is because I haven't even bothered putting on makeup since I started my new position at work. I'm going to work on doing more as well as incorporate my new project, doing hair bows and other accessories
Here's one I most recently made! Keep an eye out for more blogs about both.
You can always cover it with makeup
A spot where I can share my knowledge of makeup, what's worked and what hasn't. As well answer any questions you may have. I'm always up for suggestions as well.

I'm soo sorry..
I suck at updating this, friends told me to start doing this blog, but i'm horrible at updating or thinking of new things to blog.. none the less i thought i'd talk today about Depotting. if any of you remember I have allot of MAC eyeshadow, and my makeup case looked a little like this...
they eyeshadows took up almost all of my large case, and if i wanted to take my shadows to touch up my eyes, i'd have to carry them in a seperate bag, and they took up a bit of space.... not fun at all. So i decided to depot my eyeshadow...here's a video to show you how its done, instead of a knife i use a safety pin though.
I decided to just stop by target and pick up numerous E.L.F eyeshadow quads they're $1 each, and i opted for that instead of a larger 15 pallette because i just wanted them all to be grouped by like colors, and easy to grab on the go and have the colors i use together the most always together
as you can see my case also can fit allot more, my lipsticks are easy to acess as well sick they're on the top instead of mixed at the bottom with other items. and then you can trade in all your empties at MAC for some new makeup! bonus, but i thought i'd just quickly throw out there if this isnt something you've already done you should definately do it.
alright thats my little update for now, is there anything you guys want to see?

Under cover
So I recently landed a job at macy's, and one of the rules is no visible tattoos. which has become a hassle shopping for work clothes, most tops are low enough to show my chest tattoo.so I've been looking into fashion scarves and high collared tops. Last night at walmart with my sis I stumbled upon hard candy's heavy duty concealer which boasts that it can cover tattoos. It has the small tube as well as a concealer pencil to go over the darker parts first. Well here's pix of my first try. The concealer is a little light for my skin, but with powder it'll be fine.there are only like 3 shades light tan and medium, so that's the only thing that sucks.but the cool thing is a small dab goes a long way, it took about 2 coats to get it this way.and for 8 dollars I can't complain
and now this is what it looks like using hard candy in "medium" ( i recomend wearing a tank top or something your not going to get concealer all over)

It's not me, it's you
First off so sorry for the month plus absence,i got really sick and just didn't feel like even putting on makeup....but let's get this started again...here are items u can live without..I'll explain my reasoning because for a few items...you might still look post my cons
First is Max Factor whipped creme moisturizing makeup. .. I have a love hate with this item..the pro is it goes on smooth and nice and I like the smell of the foundation...what I don't like is as the bottle states "soft dewy finish" it's got some shimmer to it, which always seems to appear more like your face is sweaty as heck.
Wet n Wild eye makeup remover-this stuff reaks so bad it gives me a headache
Rimmel fix & perfect foundation primer-it claims "smoothes skin minimizes pores" "..evens out your complexion-prolongs the wear of you foundation"while it does seen to even out the blemishes a little on your face I haven't seen it do anything else it claims, its also is kind of orange and does effect the color of your actual foundation a little.
Derma blend leg and body cover-i bought this because I heard it works for tattoo cover up, it's pretty expensive and for it to work great too you need the setting powder...i think in the end 2 colors I needed and powder ran me about $80..while it works great on discoloration and marks I have never had it work decent on tattoos..
Jane agua sheer tinted moisturizer-its does say it has spf 30- so first thing is it smells strongly like sunblock. I was excited to get this because I thought it should be great as a lazy day thing that i could quickly throw on if I was just running some errands..you have to be super certain that you get this on evenly it's really easy for this to look blotchy...i had a few people ask me what had happened because it looked like I had a scratch on my nose.the price is a pro because rite aide had all jane products on sale for 75% off.
So there you have it, the least fave items in my case....next I'm going to try to do a vid tutorial, using my phone so lets hope it works

glitter tramp
Did I mention I don't like to look natural? good.. So here's a little fun thing I don't usually let anyone see, me with 0 makeup, no primer, foundation nothing...but for giggles, or gasps of horror, here is me getting ready to go out tonight with no makeup, AT ALL
There's allot of colors I use when it comes to my eyes, Heres a close up and then I'll discuss the breakdown each color.
I've become fascinated with the idea of a sudden contrast in colors so i like to do this bright pink/yellow on my eyes so that when there open thats all you see, but when they're closed its usually a way different color, this time blues. All the eyeshadows are MAC. Passionate(pink) and Goldenrod are above the crease, with Phloof! blended over it and Crystal Avalanche right below the brow. I used Deep Truth on the crease, and Tilt on the lid with Electra on the inner corner. After that I dabbed my Medusa Makeup eyelid primer over my lids (they do have a glitter glue of sorts, but I dont have it) and with a brush blotted blue glitter over it all, but you can still somewhat see the shading.
I'll give you a second to quickly scroll past the image.... I just wanted to you guys to see the actual contrast of what I look like with and without makeup.
I don't like to go anywhere without makeup, if you've ever thought you've seen me with none on, I usually am wearing, primer, foundation, and powder at least.
So here's an pic off all that I used today to get all fun, I wanted to use LOTS of glitter, because-well I was going to a Burlesque show.

I need someone to take pics of me because i'm not that great at doing them myself.
Under my eyes I used crystal avalanche for a highlight on my cheekbones, I use MAC's Love thing blush, and then to blend it all together Rimmel's Natural Bronzer.
Lips-MAC's cunning. Another thing I do is first go over my eyebrows with mascara-anykind, followed by filling them in with a smudge of sorts this time its Mehron's black paint.
Today was the first time using the primer as a eyeshadow glue, and so far it's stuck pretty well without much falling off or creasing. I know there's also MAC mix media out there that works great, I've never used it but it is on my list of things to buy next and try out.

a few of my favorite things..
So here we go... Here are a few things in my cases I can't live without, most of them to the point that if I'm running low, I will go and buy another one before the first one runs out. I warn you guys, I don't have a camera, so everything gets to be taken via my super duper sometimes lame, cameraphone.
First off- Daily makeup brush cleaner. A friend of mine showed me this stuff over the summer and I got hooked. You can pick it up in Sephora, the JC Penny's here only has it in a travel size which runs you about $6. I use this on a Daily basis cleaning my brushes so they dont get gunked up with color,or just oils and such off your skin.I also like it for the fact that it helps keep my makeup bags clean since I used to just throw the brushes in them after I was done loaded up with eyeshadow still and they'd get everything in my bag dirty. The smell is also addicting.
next is N.Y.C. liquid eyeliner in black..you can pick this up at any drug store and it'll usually cost you less than $3 It is the ONLY eyeliner I use (except when doing leopard print..but that'll come in a future blog). My only complaint from people who have never tried it before is that it is heavy feeling, but you get used to that, I don't even notice it anymore. I actually only use liquid eyeliner on my lids, and out of all the brands I enjoy this one the most, I used to use Cover girl's liquids but they always seemed to fade by the end of the day.
MAC-eyeshadow in the shade Motif $14.50 I believe. I can never keep this one in my case for that long. It's great for blending, highlighting, I use it on lids, cheekbones..everything, and if I'm going out in a hurry I will just quickly brush a dash over my eyelids for a little color, so I don't look so bland. Out of all the colors I use this is the one I run through the fastest.
Maybelline Falsies mascara-I guess this is where I let you all know, most the times I don't go for a natural look, I'm inspired by drag and couture makeup, pretty dramatic. I LOVE the Falsies mascara cuz it does give a dramatic edge to my eyes. I've read on other reviews or blogs some people don't like it because it clumps. I haven't really had an issue with it clumping. My only complaint would be is that it's a pain to get off, I can wash down my face and go through 2 cotton balls of eyemakeup remover. and then wash my face again and there's STILL mascara residue.
Eyelid Primer- I have an issue with my eyelids getting kind of slick, and it causes eyeshadows to crease, as well as if I'm wearing soley eyeliner, it'll smudge and get that supper unflattering ring of liner in the crease of my lid. Primer helps fix both those things. Primer is the one item I don't have a preference on, right now I have 2 different ones.. One by E.L.F a random brand I found at Target, and then I also have Medusa Makeup eyelid primer. I actually like the ELF one a little bit better for 2 reasons- one its cheaper, second I've accidently put a little too much of both primers on before, and with the Medusa one it almost made things worse..and it even effected the way the shadows blended.
So there you have it. These are the few items I cannot survive without *makeup wise*. Tomorrow I'll go through some products I've tried, and could totally go without ever using them again.
